Crime Impact Program
The Crime Impact Program provides a forum for a victim to tell a group of juvenile offenders about the impact of the crime on their life and on the lives of their families, friends, and neighbors. After the victim tells their story, offenders are involved in discussion groups and write apology letters that reflect what they did, the hurt they made their victim feel, and what they think they could say or do to make amends to their victim. This recognition of their actions allows an opportunity for the offender to change their behavior and work together with the community. Please contact us for more information about this program and the referral process.
